A workplace prank at a national food distributor in Missouri has not resulted in the threat of a lawsuit, workers familiar with the prank report.
The prank, in which colleagues duped an employee into eating laxative-infused pancakes, ended with everyone laughing, including the victim. “No big deal,” said Gibson Daly, who is a sales service coordinator for Griffin Boyd Distributors in Joplin, Missouri. “I actually got some good reading done on the crapper.”
A spokesperson at the distributor declined comment, saying that they do not sell or distribute any pancake productes infused with laxatives.
UPDATE: Good feeling gone. A company spokesperson has confirmed that it has received a draft complaint from an attorney representing a worker “who was the victim of a heinous and insidious prank.”
