A recent poll by an attentionomic marketing service confirms that a strong majority of attorneys recommend sugarless gum for their clients. The poll, taken during Legal Tech New York, found that four out of five attorneys responding believed that sugarless gum such as Trident is a “good choice for clients who chew gum.”
The poll was similar to one from the 1970’s in which the makers of Trident gum surveyed dentists about gum chewing. In that survey, eighty-five percent of the 1,200 dentists surveyed recommended sugarless gum for their patients who chew gum.
In the current poll of more than 800 attorneys, 82 percent said they also recommended sugarless gum for their clients. A surprising 14 percent, however, instead recommended drinking Cutty Sark or “blazing one for the nation,” while a small minority of attorneys refused to answer the question, saying it was “ill-defined and biased against clients who like sugar.”
